Closing deals can be challenging to do without seeming pushy or inauthentic. Ideally, people would be attracted to you and chase you, without you having to chase them. However, this is not how many of us have learned or been taught when it comes to sales. The M.O. for most companies includes hard selling and closing the deal no matter how pushy the individual may seem, but is this really the most efficient way?
Our guest for today is Oren Klaff who is the Director of Capital Markets at the investment bank Intersection Capital, where he manages its capital-raising platform. Since 2005, Oren has grown the firm to approximately $2 billion in aggregate trade volume across a diversified portfolio of companies and transactions.
